About the Authors

BOB KAPLAN is the founding partner of Kaplan DeVries Inc., a consulting firm specializing in executive development for individuals and teams.  He has been consulting to executives and conducting pioneering research on leadership development since the early 1980s at the Center for Creative Leadership.  He is the author of two books and many articles, and two 360° instruments: SKILLscope for Managers and, along with Rob Kaiser, the Leadership Versatility Index. ROB KAISER is a partner with Kaplan DeVries Inc. He joined Kaplan DeVries in 1997 to expand the firm’s research and development capabilities. Rob is a thought-leader with over 100 publications and presentations on leadership. He also consults; his specialties are 1) coaching high potentials and 2) helping organizations frame, study, and solve practical leadership problems.
